Cornwall Travel Guide

Cornwall is one of the UK’s best-known destinations, and it definitely earns that reputation. The coastline is the main event with long stretches of beach, turquoise coves and a sea that (on a sunny day) I think genuinely rivals the Mediterranean.

It also has some of the best surfing in the country, and even if you’re not getting in the water yourself, it’s hard not to be drawn into the energy of the coast.

Alongside the landscape, Cornwall has its icons. The Eden Project and St Michael’s Mount are well worth seeing, but some of my favourite time here is spent much more simply. Wandering through picturesque fishing villages, getting lost down narrow streets and popping into small cafes, shops and galleries, ideally with a Cornish pasty in hand.
